'RESOIIYrION NO. 11-69
A RESOLurION ESTABUSHING SALARIES IN THE FIRE AND POUGE DEPARI'MENTS
WHEREAS, en May 1., 1968 the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of ft'bunt frospect adopted Fesolution 9~8, amended by Resolution 28-68,
establishing the salaries of police lieutenants, fire lieutenants, fire
lieutenant-inspector, and pollee sergeants, policenen, and pOlicewoman,
firemen, and firernan-mechanic; and
WHEREAS, it is now the desire and determination of this Board to change the
provisicns of said Resolution 9-68 and 28-68;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIIENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF IDUNT RPOSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECrION am: That satd Resolution 9-68 passed and adopted on May 7, 1968
and Resolution 28-68 passed and adopted on Septent>er 3, 1968 are herein re-
pealed and superceded by this Resolution.
SECTION rrwo: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1969 the amual
salary for police lieutenants shall be as scheduled herein:
First 12 m::>nths at rank
Second 12 months at rank
Third 12 months at rank
Fourth 12 m::>nths at rank
After 48 nx:>nths at rank

salary for firemen and the annual salary for pollcemen shall be as scheduled
herein :

Second 6 months at rank 8,940.00
Third 6 nx:>nths at rank 9,120.00
Fourth 6 months at rank 9,300.00
Fifth 6 nx:>nths at rank 9,480.00
Sixth 6 m::>nths at rank 9,660.00
Seventh 6 nx:>nths at rank 9,840.00
Eighth 6 nx:>nths at rank 10,020.00
After 48 months at rank 10,200.00
SECrION SIX: BE IT FUR'1JIER RESOLVED that effective May 1, 1969 the fire
inspector shall receive the sum of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per nx:>nth in
addition to his base rate.

SECTION SEVEN: BE rr FURrHER RESOLVED that effective May I, 1969 the
fireman-nechamc shall receive the sum of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) per
IIDnth in add! tion to his base rate.
SECTICN EIGHT: BE IT FURrHER RESOLVED that effective May I, 1969 the
annual salary of the policewoman shall be Seven Thousand Two Hundred
Dollars ($7,200.00).
SECTION NINE: The above rates are premised on service time at the rank coupled
with reconmendation by the respective Chiefs of Departrrents.
SECTICN TEN: BE IT FURrHER RESOLVED that this Resolutial sBall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner pro-
vided by law.
