VJHEPEAS, the VILLAGE OF ]\10UNT ppmPECI' has entered into an ap:reement
with the State of Illinois for the improvement of Busse Road (CH Route 012)
known as Sectien 012-0304 MFT; Village Sections 40C3;
and,
WHERr-<':A.S, in compliance with the aforementioned agreement, it is
necessary for the VILLAGE to appropriate Motor fuel Tax funds to pay its
share of the cost of said improvement,
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT nESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect that there is hereby appropriated the
sum of Seventy Four Thousand Dollars ($74,000.00), or so rruch thereof as
may be necessary, from any money now or hereafter allotted to the Village
under the provisions of the Motor Fuel Tax Law to pay its share of the
cost of this improvement as provided in the agreement;
and,
BE IT FURmER RESOLVED, that upon the award of the contract, the State
of Illinois is hereby authorized and directed to deduct and pay over to the
I:epartment of Public Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois in a lump
sum from any of said money allotted to the VILLAGE under the Motor fuel Tax
Law an amount equal to its obligation incurred under this agreement, and,
BE IT FURrHER RESOLVED, that the VILLAGE agrees to pass a supplemental
resolution to provide necessary funds for its share of the cost of this
improvement if the amount appropriated herein proves to be insufficient to
cover said cost.
