and to further authorize cooperation with the TI~ount Prospect Park District fa
developinp: said site and adjacent and adjoininp: property for park, recreation,
flood control and municipal purpose.
vffiEREA~, the Board of r,orrrnissioners of the Mount Prospect Park District
and the Board of Trustees of the Villap:e of ~~ount Prospect have avreed to
purchase from the rn.mers of the property thE" tract of land consistinrr of 23
acres more or less and ccrnmonly knrnm as Unit #10 and vlest Park and have
further ap:reed to cooperate in the development of' said site for park, recre-
at ion , flood control and municipal purposes; and,

SEcrION ONE: That the Villap-e of ]\~ount Prospect participate with the

tract 23 acres more or less, the lep'al description therof to be deterrrined
by a survey, the Villa.>"e' s portion shall be for the price of 5200,000., the
site tract beinr 9 acres more or less.
SECl'ION TV'TO: That the Village of ~~ount Prospect execute a lon?, term lease
with the Mount Prm;pect Park District by which the said 9 acres more ::-r less
of the total approx irnately 25 acrE' tract of land would be leased to the Park
District frorn said Villap'e of rftount Prospect for park and recreational uses
at a minimum norrinal rental;
SEaI'ION THREE: That the Poard of Trustees of the Villa~ of 1I.1ount Prospect
execute a short term lease ~'li th the rfount Prospect Park D:tstrict by which an
additional 2 acres more of less of said approximately 25 acre tract of land
would be leased to this Park District for present recreational use and for
possible future municipal use at a minirnurr norninal rental.
SEaI'ION FOUR: That the Villare President, villare r'1anarer, and Villa?,e
J\ttorney of the Villare of lI'rount Prospect be and are hereby authorized to
negotiate the further terrs and conditions of said two leases, and are
further authorized to execute and deliver any and all documents includjnr
escrow docurrents, and to take <my further and necessary action as is app-
ropriate and necessary to execute and perforr' the purposes of this resolution.
SEaI'ION PIllE: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect frorr
and after its passare, publication and approval :t.n the rranner provided by
law.
