HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 33-69 11/25/1969 RESOLUTION NO. 33-69 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING 'IHE NUMBER OF OFFICERS AND !\1El'mRS OF THE POLICE IEPARI'MENI' OF 'mE VILLAGE OF M:lUNT PROSPEGr WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as arrended, the President and Board of Trustees shall designate by res- oluticn the number of officers and rrembers of the Police Departrrent of the Village of Mount Prospect j and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 15-67, passed and approved f1arch 7, 1967, the num- ber of officers and members of the Police Department under the jurisdiction of the Board of Fire and Police Canmissioners of the Village of !\1ount Prospect, as provided therein, was established; and WHEREAS, the Fire and Police Cammi ttee of the President and Board of Trustees has recomnended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect the increase of the Police Department by two (2) j and WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the Police Department should be increased accordingly and that all prior resolutions previously adopted pertaining to the ccrrplerent of police should be repealed, and a new resolution adopted establishing the nun- ber and rank of officers and members of the Police Department; NGl, THEREFDRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUS'lEES OF 'mE VILLACE OF MOUNT PROSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION am: That, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, there is hereby authorized (under the jurisdiction of the Board of Fire and Police Commissicners of the Village of Mount Prospect) for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, the following personnel: RANK Chief of Police Lieutenant Sergeant Patrolman Policewcman NUMBER 1 4 4 24 1 SEcrION TWO: That, pursuant to Section 4. 801 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, there is hereby authorized (not to be under the jurisdicticn of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the sillage of Mount Prospect) for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County. Illinois, the following persormel: POSITIa~ Radioman Youth Counselor NUfftR 4 1 SECTION THREE: That Resolution No. 15-67 passed and approved March 7, 1967 be and the same is hereby repealed.
