Ordinance No: I8.
An Ordinance prohibiting the location or mainten~nce of any Public
Garage within certain distances from schools, Ohurches.ita., within
C The Village of Mount Prospect, in the County of Cook and State of Illinois.
Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Tillage
of Mount Prospect:-
Section l:- That no person, firm, or corporation, shall locate,
build, construct, or maintain any public garage within one hundred and
fifty feet of any building used as and for a hospital, ohurch, or public
or paroohial school or grounds thereof within said village of Mount
Pro spe ct .
Section 2:- For every violation of any section of this ordinance
any person, firm or oorporation shall be fined not less than ten dollars
($lO.OO) nor more than two hundred dollars (200.00). for eaoh offence
and eaoh day of the continuation of the violation shall be deemed a
separate offence.
Section 3:- This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication, aocording to law.
