AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVYING AND ASSESSMENT
OF TAXES FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,
ILLINOIS, COM!,mNCING MAY 1,
1923 and ENDING APRIL 30,
1924.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect in the County of Cook and State of
Illinois, did on the 1st day of Ma~ A. D. 1923, pass the
usual appropriation ordinance for said Villa~e for the
fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of May, 1923 and endin~
on the 30th day of April, 1924, the amount of which is .
ascertained to be the a~gregate sum of Eighty-three HUndred
Fifteed Dollars ($8315.00), which said appropriation ordinance
was duly posted on the 7th day of May, A. D. 1923r
NOW THEREFORE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect:
SECTION 1. That there be and is hereby levied upon
all of the taxable property within the corporate limits of
said Villa~e, for the year 1923, the total sum of Forty-six
Hundred Eighty Dollars ($4680.00), for the folloWing specific
purposes mentioned in said appropriation ordinanoe and in
the respeotive sums as follows, to-wit:

SEeTION 2. The Village Clerk is hereby direoted to
file with the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, on or
before the Third Tuesday in September, 1923, a oopy of
this ordinanoe duly oertified by said olerk.
SECTION 3. This ordinanoe shall be in full foroe and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
