.AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING JroR THE APPOmTMEliT OF A
ZONmG COI.nJISSION.
BE IT ORDAIlJEDby the President and Board 'of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect in the County of Cook and
state of Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1. That there be and hereby is created a zoning
commission consisting of seven (7) citizens of said Village
of Mount Prospect, such commission to be appointed by the
President of the Board of Trustees, subject to the confirmation
of the Board. of Trustees as provided by law. '
SECTIOn 2. That such commission shall prepare a tentative
. report and a proposed zoning ordinance for the entire VilJ.s.ge
of lTount Pro spect and sull perform and do all other acts and
things necessary in'conneotionwith tne"aoning of said Village,
and in accordance with the provisions of an Act of the General
C .Assembly, entitled,
"AILAot to oonfer certain additional powers upon C1 ty
councils In'ol t1es and presidents und boards of trustees
in Villages and Incorpo~ated towns concerning buildings
and structures, the intensity of use of lot areas, the
classification of. trades, industries, buildings and
structures, with respect to location and regulation, the
creation of districts of different classes, and: the
establishment of re~llations and restrictions applicable
thereto,"

SECTION 3. This ordinance shell be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
