' I BE IT ORDAINED by the President' and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook and State of Illinois: SECTION 1. That Paragraph numbered (3) of Section 6 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS IN THE VILLAGE OF MOONT PROSPECT, COUNTY OF COOK ANn STATE OF ILLINOIS", passed by the Board of Trustees of said Village on the '7~ day of ~ 1934, and approved bV the President of said Village on the 71J.. day of ~ 1934, be amended so that the same shall be and read as follows: "(3) Class C, which shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor by clubs, as defined by said Act en- titled: "An Act Relating to Alcoholic Liquors", approved January 31, 1934, and in force February 1, 1934, on the premises of such club to its members and guests for con- sumption on such premises. The annual license fee shall be based upon the membership of such club and be at the rate of $1 for each regular membership outstanding during such year, or any portion of such year, up to seventy-five, making a maximum annual fee of $75.00. "The President of the Village may also grant a permit to the holder of a Class C license, without payment of further license fee, upon application from the officers or the duly authorized agent of the holder of such ~ice:b.s~ authorizing the sale of beer, for consumption on its pre- mises, at public functions given by such club; prGvided that;not more than ~ (J~) such permits shall be issued to any holder of a Class C license during the period of one (1) year. "The President of the Village may also grant a daily permit to any local organization or group, such as a fire department, veteran's organ:',zation, lodge, church and sim- ilar organizations, authorizing the sale of beer at any picnic, carnival or similar function given by said organi- zation- provided that not more than five such daily permits shall be issued to anyone such organization during the period of one year. The fee for such daily permit shall be Five Dollars ($5.00)." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
