AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROK THE
VILLAGE OF MOONT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS a petition has been duly presented according to

law requesting the disconnection of the land hereinafter deScriber
from the corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect; and,
WHEREAS after investigation it is found that all of said
lands and territory lie within the Village of Mount Prospect and
are upon the border and within the boundaries thereof; that
none of said lands are laid out in city or village lots or
blocks; that said petition is signed by the owner of all of the
area of said lands and is accompanied by a certificate of the
County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, Showing that all village
taxes and assessments due at the time of the presenting of said
petition have been fully paid; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the P?esident and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands be and
the same are hereby disconnected from the Village of Mount
Prospect, subject, however, to payment of the proportionate shar1
of any and all unpaid indebtedness of said Village contracted
during the time said lands were within the said Village.
The following is a description of the lands hereby
disconnected:
That part tiorth of the center line of Seegers
Road of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third p~incipal Meridian, also described
as Lot 18 of Owner's Subdivision of the North-
west Quarter of said Section 13, Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian.
SECTION 2. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, and is also directed

to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the Clerk of the
County Court of Cook County, Illinois, all as required by
statute.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval and it shall be
known as Ordinance NoM /'1~
PASSED this 29th day of March, A.D.1955.
