BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TROSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOONT PROSPECT,COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF
ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 18 of an ordinance entitled:
"An Ordinance To Regulate the Sale of Alcoholic
Liquors in the Village of Mount Prospect, County
of Cook and State of Illinoian,
passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Vtllage of Mount Prospect, Illinois, on the 3rd day of April,
I 1934, be and the same is hereby amended, so that the same shall

be and read as follows:

"SECTION 18. CLOSING HOURS. It shall be unlawful
to sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic
liquor in the Village between the hours of 1:00 0'
clock A.M. and 6:00 o'clock A.M. on any week day,
and between the hours of 2:00 o'clock A.M. and
12:00 o'clock at noon on any Sunday.
It shall be unlawful to keep open for business or
to admit the public to any premises in or on which
alcoholic liquor is sold at retail during the hours
within which the sale of such liquor is prohibited;
PROVIDED, that in the case of restaurants, clubs
and hotels such establishments may be kept open
during such hours, but no alcoholic liquor may be
sold to or consumed by the public during such hours;
PROVIDED FURTHER that premises in or on which alco-
holic liquor is sold at retail may be kept open from
the hour of 6:00 o'clock A.M. on Sunday for the pur-
pose of selling merchandise other than alcoholic
liquor" .

This Ordinance shall be in full force and
required by law.
