" ftG I AN ORDINANCE 1U~NEXIWG THE NORTH FIVE HONDRED TWENTY-SIX (525) FEET, A.S MEASURED ALONG THE WES' LINE THEREOF, OF toT EIGHTEEN (18) IN OnER. S BOBDIVI8ION OF SECTION THIRTEEN (13) I TOWNSHIP fORTY~ONE (41) NORTH, RANGE ELEVEN (11) ~AST OF THE TBIR PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSP!CT, COOK COONTY, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS a. peti tion signed by all the owners or the I property hereinarter described was haretorore riled in the Office I of the Clerk of the County Court of Cook County, Illinois, peti- tioning sa,ld Court for annexation of said property to the Village of Mount Prospect, and praying that said Court should cause the question of such annexation to be submi.tted to the President and Board of Trustees Of said Village of Mount Prospect; and, WHEHUiS after due notice of the filing of said petition and the proposed hearing thereon, given as required by law, a hearing was bad on said peti tion in said County Court of Cook County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS upon such hearing in said County Court the , County JUdge of said County Court of Cook County entered an order finding, among other things, the,t notice of the filing and I pendency of such petition was duly given as required by law; that said Court had jurisdiction of the parties and subject matter therein; thC!.t no obj ections had been filed obj ecting to the legal sufficiency or validi ty of said peti ti.onj that said peti tiOD was duly f:tled a.nd was signed by all the owners of the property therein described and proposed to be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; that said property or territory is vacant and unoccupied, and that there were therefore no legal voters residing thereon at the time of the filing of said peti tion,; that said territory is not included within the limits of any other city, village or incorporated town and 1s contiguous to the said Village of Mount Prospect; that sald petition contained the n-.... This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after thirty days from its passage and approval, unless a referendum thereon shall be ordered or petitioned for within said time, as provided by statute.
