That the ordinance of this Village entitled: TlAn Ordinance providing for the issue of bonds of The Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, in the sum of $10,000, for the purpose of constructing, altering, improving and repairing of streets, and providing for the collection of a direct annual tax for the payment of principal of end interest on said bonds", adopted by , the President and Board of Trustees of this Village on the 7th day of March, 1939, be submitted to the voters of said Village at an I I lannual election which is hereby called to be held in and for said I ilvillage on the 18th day of April, 1939. i Ii -1- Section 2. That the notice of said annual election set forth the time and place of said election, the officials to be vot- ed upon and contain a true and correct copy of said ordinance, to- gether with a statement that same will be submitted to the voters at 'is aid election. R~SOLUTION with respect to funds to pay Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) .(( General Obligation Street Improvement Bonds of The Village of Mount Pros- pect, in Cook County, Illinois. / ******* ~~REAS, the ?resident and Board of Trustees of The Vil- lage of Mount Prospect, in Cook County, Illinois, on the 7th day of March, 1939, adopted an ordinance providing for the issuance of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) General Obligation Street Improvement Bonds, and on the same day adopted an ordinance providing that the proposition of issuing said bonds be submitted to the voters at the general election to be held April 18, 1939; and WHEREA~, the work to be paid for from the proceeds of said bonds will be along streets wIlich are State Highways; and VJH~RE4~,an agreement has been reached that the funds here- after realized from the proceeds of gas taxes or other funds appor- tioned to the Village by the State for use in constructing and main- taining highways shall be applied insofar as practicable to the pay- ment of said bonds after the work shall have been completed; NOW, T.[~5EFORE, Be It Resolved by the PresIdent and Board of Trustees of The Village of Mount Prospect, in Cook County,Illinois: Sectio~ 1. That any funds realized by this Village from the State of Illinois as the proceeds of gas taxes or otherwise after the completion of the rontemplated work along certain public highways in said Village which are State roads, shall be used to pay Ten Thousand [ollars ($10,000) General Obligation Street Improve- ment Bonds of this Village authorized by the ordinance adopted March 7th, 1939, insofar as the funds may be applicable for that purpose. -1- Section 2. Whenever sufficient funds realized from the proceeds of gas taxes or othervdse and other than the proceeds of taxes levied by the ordinance authorizing the issuance of the bonds shall have been deposited with the paying agent named in said ordin- ance sufficient to meet principal and interest requirements prior to the time the next succeeding tax levy shall be extended and funds therefrom realized, then the tax levy to be extended for that par- ticular year shall be abated by proper action of this Board, and certificate with respect to such abatement shall be filed with the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, but such abatement shall be applicable only to a particular year and shall not be made unless sufficient funds equal to the amount of the tax so abated shall have theretofore been deposited with the paying agent. ~ection 3. A certified copy of this resolution shall be filed with the Treasurer of this Village. Sectiop 4.
