P..ND ELMHURST ROAD IN .'l'HE: VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, AS THROUGH
STREETS

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BO.A..'i.D OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGi OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COUNTY OF COOK
AND STArE OF ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the following streets within the
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect be and they are here-
by designated as tl~ough streets:

Section 2. Every operator of a vehicle shall stop
such vehicle before entering an intersection where stop signs
or clearly marked stop lines are placed except when directed
to proceed by a police officer or traffic control signal.
Section 3. Every operator of a vehicle when tra~vers-
ing any street intersecting said through streets shall be sub-
.ject to the ordinances regulating traffic in the Village of
Mount Prospect, and for failure to observe such regulations as
to said through streets sha_ll be subject to the penalties
prescribed in said ordinances.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion according to law.
Passed this 5th day of August, A.D. 1941.
