RESOLUTION NO. 32-91
A ~ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING OUT OF STATE SERVICE CREDITS FOR
VIRJEAN DI BLASI IN THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND
WHEREAS, Virjean Di Blasi is an active employee of the Village of
Mount Prospect and as such has been a contributing member to the
IllinOis Municipal Retirement Fund since September 20, 1981; and
WHEREAS, prior to employment with the Village of Mount Prospect
Virjean Di Blasi was employed by Leawood, Kansas, a municipal
corporation, and as such was a contributing member to the employee
pension system in the State of Kansas; and
WHEREAS, Virjean Di Blasi has irrevocably forfeited all rights to
any benefits from that pension system; and
WHEREAS, Virjean Di Blasi has made application to the Illinois
Municipal Retirement Fund to make additional contributions to the
Fund for the period of time that she was employed by Leawood,
Kansas; and
WHEREAB, the Village of Mount Prospect is required to authorize
such out of state service credits for employees and to forward such
authorization to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect do hereby authorize the service credits for the
period of time Virjean Di Blasi was employed by Leawood, Kansas.
SECTION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby aUthorized and directed to forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
