Transportation By Municipality Under the Illinois Highway Code
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect , Illinois, that there is hereby
(City, Town or Village) (Name)
appropriated the sum of $ 827,500 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintelmng
streets and highways under the applicable provisions of tho Illinois Highway Code, from January i, 93
to December31, 19 93 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that only those streets, highways, and operations as listed and described
on the approved Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costa, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in
conn6ction with this resolution, are eligible for maintenance with Motet Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified
above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that ~he Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as
given above, submit to the Department of Transportation, on forms furnished by said Department, a certified state-
ment showing expenditures from and hala~ces remaining in the account(s) for this period; and
BE IT FI. FRTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this
resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Schaumburg , Illinois.

Dear Madam:
The resolution adopted by the Mayor and Board of Trustees on
Sanuary 5, 19~ appropriating $827,500.00 of $otor fuei tax
funds for the maintenance of various municipai streets from
Oanuary l, i9P3, to December ~i, i9~, was approved by this
Department on February i6, i~3.
Expenditure for the fuii amount of the previousiy approved
estimate $i70,000.00 from your unobligated motor fuei tax
account is hereby authorized and will be recorded on your next
monthiy AIlotment Notification Letter.
