AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 6 AND SECTION 9
OF .AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO
R~GULATE . THE SALE OF ALCOHOLI C LI QUORS IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COUNTY OF COOK AND
STATE OF ILLINOIS. PASSED APRIL 3, 193~L AP-

1934, AND AS AMENDED JANUARY 10, 1935, AND
MAY 6. 1941.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook and State of
Illinois:
SECTION 1. That Section 6 and Section 9 of an ordinance
entitled "An Ordinance to regulate the sale of alcoholic liquors
in the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook and State of Illi-
nois," passed April 3, 1934, approved April 7, 1934, and published
April 13, 1934, and as amended January 10, 1935, and May 6, 1941,
be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 6. CLASSIFICATION -- FEES. Such licenses
shall be and are hereby divided into two (2) classes,
to-wit:
(1) Class A licenses, which shall authorize the
retail sale on the premises specified of alcoholic liquor
for consumption on the premises as well as other retail
sales of such liquor. The annual fee for such license
shall be $500.00.
(2) Class B which shall authorize the retail sale
of alcoholic liquor by clubs, as defined by said Act en"
titled: "An Act Relating to Alcoholic Liquors," approved
January 31, 1934, and in force February 1, 1934, on the
premises of such club to its members and guests for consump-
tion on such premises. The annual license fee shall be
$200.00.
The president of the village may also grant a daily
permit to any local organization or group, such as a tire

department, veteran's organization, lodge, church and
similar organizations, authorizing the sale of beer at
any picnic, carnival or similar function given by said
organization; provided that not more than five such daily
permits shall be issued to anyone such organization during
the period of one year. The fee for such daily permit
shall be $5.00.
SECTION 9. NUMBER OF LICENSES. There shall be
issued in the village no more than three (3) Class A
licenses to be in effect at any time.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
