AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 3 OF AN
ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, PASSED AND APPROVED
ON THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1944.
WHEREAS, the owners of Lots Numbers nine (9), ten (10)
and forty-three (43) in W. Krause's Addition to Mount Prospect,
Illinois, and Lots ten (10) and eleven (11) in Block eleven (11)
in Busse and Wille's Resubdivision to Mount Prospect, IllinOis,
filed a petition to have said lands rezoned into business property;
and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission in pursuance of the pro-
visions of the zoning ordinance of Mount Prospect duly caused a
notice to be published in the Mount Prospect Herald on October
13, 1944, giving notice that a public hearing would be held by
the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect at the
Village Hall on the 31st day of October, 1944, at 8:00 O'clock
P.M.; am

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
CF TRUSTEES OF TEm VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOKillUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of the Zoning Ordinance in
Mount Prospect be amended to change the classification. of said

Lots nine (9), ten (10) and forty-three (43) in W. Krause's
Addition to Mount Prospect, Illinois, and lots ten (10) and
eleven (11) in Block eleven (11) in Busse and Wille's Resub-
division to Mount Prospect, Illinois, from single family resi-
dential to business.
SECTION 2. That the boundaries of the business districts
be changed on the official copy of the zoning plan to include
said lots in such districts.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
