HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 253 01/08/1946 . . &S~ M~ ORDINM~CE PERTAINING 'lIO STREE'l1 L;[PROVm.1ENTS. *-**-** ~~EREAS, it is desirable that all private improvements to streets by abutting property ovmers be uniform and in accordance with ordinances of the village of Mount Prospect; and such im- provements should be under the supervision of the Superintendent of Streets; now, therefore: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT MJD THE BOARD OF TRUSTEIDS OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That no street within. the village of Mount Prospect shall be repaired or improved by the ovmer of property abutting thereon until a permit therefor shall be obtained by such property ovmer from the Superintendent of Streets. All permits, when issued, shall be issued without a fee. Section 2. All repairs and improveme~ts under a permit shall be made with material to be approved by the Superintendent of Streets; and all such work shall be performed under his direction and supervision. Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordin~nce shall be fined not more than Two Hundred Dollars for each offense. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication ac- cording to law. II II II , PASSED this 3' d day'of January, A.D. 1946.
