(, 2.---- AN ORDINANCE CHANGING NAME OF HI LUSI AVENUE BETWEEN ELMHURST STREET AND MAN-AWA TRAIL TO HIAWATHA TRAIL AND SA-GO-LE AVENUE BETWEEN LO~TNQUIST BLVD. AND MAN-AWA TRAIL TO HI LUSI AVENUE . ****** WHEREAS, a petition of the property owners abutting on Hi Lusi Avenue from Elmhurst Street to Man-Awa Trail request- ing that the name of said Hi Lusi Avenue be changed to Hiawatha Trail was filed with the Village Board; and \VHEF~AS. a petition of the property owners abutting on Sa-Go-Le Avenue between Lonnquist Blvd. and Man-Awa T~ail re- questing that the name of said Sa-Go-Le Avenue be changed to that of Hi..Lusi A~renue was filed with the Village Board; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect Planning Com- mis8io~ has made a study of said proposed changes and has recommended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil- lage that said street names should be changed as requested in the petitions; now, therefore, BE IT ORDATIfED BY THE PRESIDENT Al\fD BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MO~rT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: Section I!,. That the name of Hi Lusi Avenue from Elm- hurst Street to Man-Awa Trail in the south end of Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision, be and it is hereby changed to and to be hereafter known as HIAWATHA TRAIL. Section 2. That the name of Sa-Go-Le Avenue between LonnQuist Blvd. and Man-Awa Trail in the south end of Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision be and it is hereby changed to and to be hereafter known as HI UTSI AVENUE. Section 3~ That the Villa~e Clp~~ is hereby directed , ,; . -2- to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Cook County Map Department for the purpose of showing the changes of the names of the streets on the County records. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and pu.blica- tion, according to law. PASSED: this 6th day of August, 1946.
