AN ORDIHANCE V ACATDiG POR-
TION OF PUBLIC ALLEY.
******
WHEREAS, the owners of the property adjoining and abutt-
ing the public alley hereinafter described, having petitioned
this Board for a vacation of said alley,and it appearing to this
Board, and this Board finds t~t the public interests will be
sub-served by the vacation of said alley, and that no public or
private interest will be prejudiced thereby, which portion of
said alley shall be hereby vacated as shown in red upon the plat
hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDADIED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
" Section 1. Tha t the 16 toot wide public alley lying along
the South side ot and adjacent to Lot J in Laudermi1k's Subdivi-
sion of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Block 7 in Mount Prospect, being
a subdivision in Section 12, TownShip 41 Borth, Range il, East of
the 3rd Principal Keridian, in Cook County, IUinoi; AND the
Sout~ 95.76 feet of the 20 foot wide public alley lying along the
West side of the aforesaid Laudermilk's Subdivision between and
adjacent to Lots G, H, I and J of Laudermilk's Subdivision and
Lots 16 and 17 in Block 7 in the aforesaid Mount Prospect Subdi-
vision (as shown in red Upoll the plat hereto attached and made a
part of this Ordinance), be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the Village C1erk be and he is hereby
dir.ected to file in the office of the Registrar of Ti t1es of Cook
Coun ty, Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance and said plat
Section 3..... That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be a>>.d the same are hereby repealed.

Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned, being all the owners of the following
described parcels of land adjoining the alleys sought to be va-
cated, do hereby request your honorable body to vacate the alleys
described as follows:
"The 16 foot wide public alley lying along the south side of
and adjacent to Lot J in Laudermilk's Subdivision of Lots 3, 4,
5, 6 and 7 in Block 7 in Mount Prospect, being a subdivision in
Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principa
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois", and
"The south 93.76 feet of the 20 foot wide public alley lying
along the west side of the aforesaid Laudermilk's subdivision be-
tween and adjacent to Lots G, H, I and J of Laudermilk's subdivi-
sion and Lots 16 and 17 in Block 7 in the aforesaid Mt. Prospect
subdivision."
In consideration for said vacation, Albert E. Busse and Emma
Busse, owners of Parcel #4 as described below, hereby promise to
convey to the Village of Mt. Prospect, by warranty deed or statu-
tory plat of dedication, with reversion to grantor, his heirs or
assigns if same is ever vacated, the north 16 feet of Lot G in
the aforesaid Laudermilk's subdivision to be used as a pUblic aIle.

Lot 1 in Block 3 in Busse & Wille's Resubdivision in the
aforesaid Mt. Prospect subdivision.
Parcel 2.
Lot 16 in Block 7 in the aforesaid Mt. Prospect subdivision.
