AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRST
PARAGRAPH OF SUB-PARAGRAPH 3 of
SECTION VIII OF ORDINANCE NO.
164 AS HERETOFORE AMENDED.

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the first paragra~ of sub-paragraph
3 of Section VIII of an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance pro-
viding for the Regulation and Management of the Water Works
System of the Village of Mount Prospect and Establishing Rules
and Regulations for the Government of Water Consumers and others
and Regulating Connections with said System and Establishing
Rates, Charges and License Fees for Plumbing", known as Ordi-
nance No. 164 and heretofore amended by Ordinance known as
Ordinance No. 2t4, is hereby further amended to read as fqllows:
"The sum of Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00) shall
be paid in advance by each applicant for each sep-
arate service required to be placed, provided that
said service does not exceed twenty (20) feet in
length; and if in excess of twenty feet, the addi-
tional length shall be advanced at the rate of
One Dollar ($1.00) for each and every foot in ex-
cess thereof, and sballbe payable in addition to
the initial fee herein set forth for which the
Village will furnish all necessary pipes, cocks,
valves, shut-off boxes, cast iron service boxes;
all labor necessary to lay and construct said ser-
vice pipes shall be furnished by the contractor
and all such work shall be done under the supervi-
sion of the Water Superintendent of the Village of
Mount Prospect according to the following specifi-
cations:tl.
~ECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, ac-
cording to law.
