BE IT OBDADlED BY THE PRESIDENT AlfD BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
~JCT~~)..a. That Chapter III of the Mount Prospect

Building Code of 1938 (Ordinance No. 225), be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto Section 34.1, to read as fol-
lows:
S,ct1on34.~ No building permit shall be
issued until the owner or contractor shall have
executed and filed with the SUperintendent of
Buildings a bond in the penal sum. of ..2,,"Q.~
in cash, or with a corporate surety thereon.
Said bond to be approved as to form by the Vil-
lage Attorney. Said bond to indemnify the Village
of Mount Prospect and its officials for the full
period of time provided by the Statute of Limi-
tations of the State of Illinois, from any and
all loss, costs, expense or liability of any kind
or nature whatsoever which said Village or its
officials may suffer or be put to, or which may
be recovered from it or them by reason of the is-
suance of such permit and particularly with re-
ference to any loss or damage to pavement, curbs,
sidewalks or drains that may be damaged as the
result of such construction.

SECTION 2~ Any person, firm or corporation violating
than $200.00 for each and every offense.

and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
