AN OR,DINANCE amending
Chapter II of the Mount
Prospect Building Code
of 1938 as amended.

:! BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
II Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
il Section 1. That Chapter II of the Mount Prospect Building
Code of 1938 (Ordinance No. 225) as amended, be and the same ~s
hereby further amended by adding thereto Section 5.1 to read as
follows:
s~ction 5.1 No permits shall be issued for the erectio
of buildings for habitation on any lot or parcel of land
within the Village of Mount Prospect unless a highway, road,
or street or way for public service facilities improved with
water mains and sanitary sewers is provided to serve said
lot or parcel of land.
Sletton 2. That any person who shall violate any provision
of this ordinance or fails to comply with the requirements there- I
of, or who shall erect a building in violation thereof, shall be
guilty of misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than
$25.00 and not more than $200.00, and each day such violation is
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force ann

effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
