AN OP~INANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
No. 164, AS AMENDED.
(water Works System Ordinance.)

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
to Revise an Ordinance entitled fAn Ordinance providing for
the regulation and management of the Water vJorks System of the
Village of Mount Prospect and establish rules and regulations
for the government of Water consumers and others, and regulating
connections with said system and establishing rates and charges
and license fees for plumbing''', known as Ordinance No. 164, as
Amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto Section
VI-a, to read as follows:
Section VI-a. No part of the lots or lands in
the Village of Mount Prospect or which may here-
after be annexed to said Village that has not
heretofore been assessed for the establishment and
the construction of Water Works, Water Mains and
hydrants shall be entitled to water privileges or
to connect with any water main or water service
pipe without first paying into the Genera:l.i.~,Fund of
the Village of Mount Prospect the sum of ~~".~
per lot, if subdivided; and if unsubdivided, the
sum of $ I O. ~ per minimum lot area f~on:tage,
based on the minimum requirements qf the.8fficial
plan for subdividing properties, besides paying
the established rates fixed by ordinances of this
Village.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect forthwith upon its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
