AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION
1 (b) OF ORDINANCE NO. 245.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF
ILLINOIS:
SEa[ON 1. That Section 1 (b) of an Ordinance to
amend Section One (Ordinance No. 245) of an Ordinance amending
an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance amending Section 1 of an
Ordinance entitled: 'An Ordinance to revise an Ordinance en-
titled: An Ordinance providing for the REgulation and Manage-
ment of the Water Works System of the Village of Mount Prospect,
and establishing Rules and Regulations for the Government of
Water Consumers and Others, and Regulation Connections with
said System and Establishing Rates and Charges and License Fees
for Plumbers,ff, as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended to read as follows:
Section 1 (bfi That all consumers of water fur-
nished by the V lage of Mount prospect shall pay for
same according to the following rates and charges,

$.45 per thousand gallons

The foregoing rates are to be for
water consumed during the period of three months, or
fraction thereof, for each individual consumer and in
no case shall the chargebe less than Three Dollars
('3.00) per quarter or fraction thereof. In the event
any meter fails to register properly, the Water Collec-
tor shall make an estimate of the water used during the
period of such failure based upon the average quartity
registered by such meter during the preceding like
periods. No allowance shall be made for leakage.

Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
