AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1
of Ordinance No. 330
EE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance entitled
nAn Ordinance requiring the construction and repair of sidewalks
in connection with building permit to construct buildingsn,
knwon as Ordinance No. 330, is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following paragraph:
nIn addition to the foregoing prOY1S10nS,
each applicant shall, at the time of making
application for such building permit, deposit
with the Village-Treasurer the sum of $2.50
for each lineal foot of frontage of the lot for
which a permit is sougqt, and if a c orner lot,
the additional sum of $2.50 for each lineal foot
of such frontage on the side street. Said deposit
shall be returned to the applicant after the side-
walk has been constructed and accepted by the
Village; provided, however, that if such sidewalk
is not constructed within one year from the date
of such permit, the Village shall then be author-
ized to construct such sidewalk and pay for such c
construction out of the deposit made under the
provisions of this ordinance.n
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
