AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect. Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by ALFRED BUSSE and MARTHA
BUSSE, his wife, being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter
described land and territory, requesting the annexation of said
tract of land and territory to the Village of Mount prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is. not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of
Mount prospect, is unhabited and has no electors residing therein;

Ii WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village

liit to be to the best interests of the municipality that such ter-
I!!ritory be annexed thereto; Now, Therefore:

II, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF .TRUSTEES OF THE

IVILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

1'1 Sectio!! 1. That the allegations contained in the petition are

II Section 2. That the lands and territory described, to-wit:
That part of the East half of the Southw~st quarter of
Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11 ~ast of the 5rd
Principal Meridian described as follows: Commencing on the
South line of the East half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 55, Township 42 North, Rangell where the same is
common with the Northwest corner ofCection 7, Township 41
North, Range 12 East of the 5rd principal Meridian, said
point being 1075.92 feet West of the Southeast corner of
the Southwest quarter of Section 55, Township 42 North,
Range 11, thence West on the South line of Section 55,
Township 42 North, Range 11, 243 feet; thence North at
right angles to the South line of said Section aforesaid,
289.45 feet to the center line of Rand Road; thence South-
easterly on the center line of Rand Road, 535.55 feet to
the South line of Section 35; thence West on the South line
of Section 35 aforesaid, 207.57 feet to the place of beginnin ,
except that portion used for the right of way of Rand Road
(Route No. 12) and Central Road; all in the County of Cook,
and State of Illinois

which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is
not embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains no electors residin
therein, and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Mount prospect so that hereafter said territory
shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said
Village as is by law in such case made and provided.
section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby di-
rected to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with
an accurate map of said annexed territoz" with the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and

its passage and approval, according to law.
