WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-l Residence Dist- trict to I-I Industrial District, the real estate hereinafter des- cribed; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after consider- ing the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission, find and believe that the highest and best use for the real estate herein is that of I-I Industrial; liQ!, Iherefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: 2ection 1. That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance classi- ying, regulating and restricting the location of trades and in- ustries and the location of buildings designed for specified uses; egulating and limiting the height and bulk of buildings hereafter rected or altered, regulating and limiting the intensity of the se of lot areas and regulating and determining the area of yards, ourts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings stablishing the boundaries of districts for the said purposes; nd prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions", as sed and approved December 4, 1923, and amendments thereto (and nown as Ordinance No. 52), as amended, be further amended b.r re- lassifying from R-l Residence District to I-I Industrial District, he fOllowing described real estate: That part of the Northwest qdarter of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd principal Meridian, bounded by the following described lines: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northwest quarter of said Sectiqn 12, running thence VVest along the South line of the Northwest quarter a distance of 754.84 feet; thence North on a line parallel to the East line of the Northwest quarter of said Section 12 to the Southerly line of Prospect Avenue; thence Sout~easterly along the Soutaerly line of Pros- pect Avenue to the East line of the Northwest quarter; thence Southerly along the Easterly line of the said Northwest quarter of the said Section 12 to the place of beginning; ex- cept that part thereof described as follows: Commencing at a point in the Southerlj. line of the said Northwest quarter of Section 12 a distance of 754.84 feet West of the East line of said Northwest quarter as a place of beginning; running thence North on a line parallel with the l!.ast line of the Northwest LAW OF'FICE8 OF F"RANK M. OPEICA -2- quarter to the Southerly line of prospect Avenue; thence Southeasterly along the Southerly line of prospect Avenue a distance of 175.25 feet; thence Southerly parallel with the East line Of said Northwest qU9.rt.er a distanc.e of 174.44 reet; thence Easterly on a line parallel with the ~outherly line of the Northwest quarter a distance of 8 feet; thence Southerly on a line parallel with the Easterly line of the said North- west quarter to the Southerly line of the said Northwest quarter; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of said Northwest quarter to the point of beginning; all in Cook County, Illinois. ~ection 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be sub ject to all limitations and conditions based upon properties in th I-I Industrial District as defined in said Ordinance hereinbefore mentioned. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication ac- cording to law.
