AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect. Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK
AND TRUST CO~WANY OF CHICAGO as Trustee under the provisions of
a T:rust Agreement dated May 7, 19513 and known as Trust No. 9749,
being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land
and territory, requesting the annexation of said tract of land
and territory to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of
Mount Prospect, is unhabited and has no electors residing therein;
and
WHEREAS, said petition states that no electors reside thereinr
is under oath and in all respects complies with the requirements !
of the Statute in such case made and provided; and II.
VlliEREAS, the Pre'sident and Board of Trustees of this Village I
have examined said petition and have considered the question of thJ

annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe I
I it to be to the best interests of the municipality that such ter- '
'I ritory be annexed thereto; Now, Therefore:

BE IT ORDANIED BY THE PRESIDENT Al\Jl) BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
I VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
That the lands and territory described, to-wit:
The East 756 feet of the West 1163 feet of the South-
east i (SEt) of the Southeast t (SEt) of Section 34,
Townsh~p 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin-
cipal ~~ridian in Cook County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect,

F'RANK M. OPEKA is not embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains no electors
residing therein, and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby
annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that hereafter said
territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby di-
_ rected to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with
an accurate map of said annexed territory, with the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from a nd after its passage and approval, according to law.
