AN ORDINM~CE vacating a portion
of ~tllburn Avenue in the Village
of Mo~~t_Prospe~Illinois
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect after due investigation and consideration of the pe-
tition of the owners abutting the street sought to be vacated have
determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the
public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation
of part of a public street and described in this ordinance;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That that part of MILBURN AVENUE lying West of the
West line of Can-Dota Avenue and North of and adjoining Lot 20 as
laid out in Axel and Alice E. Lonnquist's North West Hills Subdivi-
sion No.1, being the East 2/7ths of the South 609.50 feet of the
West half of the Northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North,
j Range 11, East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, and South of Lot 50
in Alfini's First Addition to Mount Prospect,be1ng a subdivision
of part of the South 990 feet of the West half of the Northeast
quarter and part of the South 990 feet of the East half of the North-
west quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
3rd Principal Meridian, according to plat hereof registered in the
office of Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois on December 2,
1953 as Doc. No. 1496955, as colored in red and indicated by the
words "HEREBY VACATEDI1 on the plat hereto attached, which plat for
greater certainty is hereby made a part of this ordinance be and the
same is hereby vacated and closed, is no longer required for public
use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION 2. That the Village Clerk be and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this ordinance and said plat in the office
of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois.
<:....~: SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
