ORDINANCE NO. ~ l' .
WHEREAS, there is now existing in the Village of Mount
Prospect a street known as Forest Avenue between Gregory Street
and Isabella Street; and
WHEREAS, said Forest Avenue between the south line of
Gregory Street and the north line of Isabella Street is no longer
required for public use and public interest will be subserved by
the vacation of said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY
THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TEE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the public street in the Village of
Mount Prospect known as Forest Avenue
between the south line of Gregory Street and the north line of
Isabella street is no longer required for public use and public
interest will be subserved by the vacation of said street, and
it is to the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect that
the said Forest Avenue between the said streets be vacated.
SECTION 2: That Forest Avenue between the south line
of Gregory Street and the north line of
Isabella street in the Village of Mount Prospect be and the said
street is hereby vacated in accordance with the provisions of the
"Revised Cities and Villages Act of the State of Illinois It, approved
August 15, 1941, effective January 1, 1942, as amended.
Plat of
said street as vacated is hereto attached and made a part of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance
be filed in the Recorder's Office of Cook
County, Illinois.

effect from and after its passage and
approval.
