AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20
OF CHAPTER 3 OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
BUILDING CODE OF 1938.

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That Section 20 entitled "Building Permit
Fees" of Chapter 3 of the Mount Prospect Building Code of 1938
as amended be and the same is hereby further amended to read
as follows:
Building Permit Fees:
20. Fees are to be paid at the time permit is
issued. Temporary permit fees are to be estimated
and final adjustment of the fees to be made at the
time regular permit is issued. The fees to be
charged fr a general building permit for the erec-
tion or alteration of a building or structure (not
including certain water fees or other miscellaneous
fees or permits as set forth elsewhere in this or-
dinance) are to be based upon the estimated total
cost of work covered by the permit and shall be
as follows:
Less than $500.00
500.00 and less than $1,000.00
1,000.00 and less than !4,000.00
4,000.00 and less than 7,500.00
7,500.00 and less than 10,000.00
10,000.00 and less than $15,000.00
15,000.00 and less than $25,000.00

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval,
according to law.
