AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
prospect, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the village of Mount Prospect by THE
PIONEER TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK, as Trustee and not indivi-
dually, under the provisions of a Trust agreement dated
January 21, 1947 and known as Trust No. 5628, being the
sole owner of record of the hereinafter described land and
territory, requesting the annexation of said tract of land
and territory to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to
the Village of Mount prospect, is u~abited and has no
electors residing therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition states that no electors reside
therein, is under oath and in all respects complies with the
requirements of the statute in such case made and provided;

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this
Village have examined said petition and have considered the
question of the annexation of the territory described in said
petition and believe it to be to the best interests of the
municipality that such territory be annexed thereto;
NClj THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the
petition are true.
Section 2. That the lands and territory described, to-wit:
The West half (W~) of the southwest quarter
(swt) of the Southeast quarter (SEt) in Section
twelve (12), Township Forty one (41) North,
Range Eleven (11), East of the Third principal
Meridian, in cook county, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect, is not embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains
no electors residing therein, and is unincorporated, be
and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is
by law in such case made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, together
with an accurate map of said annexed territory, with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook county, Illinois.
section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according
ill law.
