AN ORDINANCE amending Section
10 of Chapter III of the Mount
Prospect Building Code of 1938.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That section 10 of Chapter III of the Mount
Prospect Building Code of 1938 (Ordinance No. 225) be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
10. Seal Required by Law: Plans and specificatiorn
must be signed and sealed by a Licensed Architect or
Structural Engineer as provided in "An Act to provide
for the licensing of Architects and to regulate the
practice of architecture as a profession and to repeal
certain acts therein named," approved June 24, 1919, or
as amended, commonly known as "The Illinois Architectural
Act: and in ~An Act to revise the law in relation to
the regulation of the practice of structural engineering"
approved June 24, 1919, as amended.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
