AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter III
of the Mount prospect Building
Code of 1938.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Chapter III of the Mount prospect
Building Code of 1938 (Ordinance No. 225) as amended by
Ordinance No. 308 be and the same is hereby further amended
by adding thereto Section 34.2 to read as follows:
34.2 No permit shall be issued until the
applicant shall have deposited with the Village
Treasurer the sum of $100.00 to guarantee the
replacement of broken sidewalks, curbs and
gutters, restoring public property damaged and
to remove all dirt and litter from the premises
and from the public streets; and said sum shall
be returned to the applicant upon completion
of the building less such sum or sums as may
be required to repair all damages to public
property and for the removal of all dirt and
litter from the public streets abutting the
premises involved.
section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect upon its~ssage, approval and publication
according to law.
