AN ORDINANCE vacating public
playground infue Village of
Mount prospect, Illinois.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount prospect after due investigation and con-
sideration of the request of the owners abutting the public
playground hereinafter described sought to be vacated, have
determined that the nature and extent of the public use and
the public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant
the vacation of said playground described in this ordinance;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That that parcel of land shown as a public
playground lying South of the South line- of Lots 7 and 13
in Block 8 and North of the North line of Lots 8 to 12, both
inclusive, in Block 8 in Pleasant Heights, Mount prospect,
being a subdivision of Lots 3 and-4 in oehlerking1s division
of land in the southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian as
colored in red and indicated by the words "HEREBY VACATED"
on the plat hereto attached, which plat for greater certainty
is hereby made a part of this ordinance be and the same is
hereby vacated and closed, is no longer required for public
use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION 2. That the Village Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance and said
plat in the office of the Registrar of Titles of cook county,
Illinois.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
