RESOLUTION NO. 16-93
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
HELD APRIL 20, 1993
WHEREAS, the Consolidated General Election was held in and for the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, on Tuesday,
April 20, 1993, for the purpose of electing a Village President (4
year Eerm); three (3) Village Trustees (4 year =erms), three (3)
Library Trustees (6 year terms); and
WHEREAS, the local Canvassing Board has conducted the official
canvass and presented the results, a copy of which is attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect do hereby declare the results of the April 20, 1993
election for said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That pursuant To the Consolidated Election Laws of
khe State of Illinois, a regular election was held for the Village
of Mount Prospecs, Tuesday, April 20, 1993.
SECTION TWO: That an official canvas was conducted by the Local
Canvassing Board for ~he Village of Mount Prospect declaring 8,022
ballots were cas~ as follows:
Village President - 4 year Term

Village Trustee - 3 positions, 4 year terms

SECTION THREE: A) That inasmuch as Gerald L. "Skip" Farley
received the greatest number of votes, he Ks hereby declared
elected ~o the Office of Village President of the Village of Mount
Prospect for a four (4) year Term.
B) That inasmuch as Timothy J. Corcoran, Michaele
W. Skowron and Richard N. Hendricks received the greatest number of
voses, they and each of them are hereby declared elected to the

Office of Village Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect for four
(4) year terms.
C) That inasmuch as Lauri L. Luteri, Jacqueline C.
Hinaber and Charles Bennett received the greatest number of votes,
they and each of them are hereby declared elected to the Office of
Library Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect for 6 year terms.
SECTION FOUR: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a certified copy of this Resolution to the Cook County Clerk
Election Department and the State Board of Election Commissioners,
as provided by law.
SECTION FIVE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
AYES: Busse, Floros, Corcoran, Clowes, Wilks, Hoefert
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of April, 1993.
