AN ORDINANCE annexing lands of Board of
Education of Township High School District
Number 214 to the Village of Mount Prospect

WHEREAS, the Board of Education of Township High School
District Number 214, Cook County, Illinois heretofore on December 19,
1955 adopted a resolution recommending that the lands as hereinafter
described be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
IlUnoi s, and
WHEREAS, a certified copy of said resolution was duly forwarded
to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
and by them considered at a regular meeting, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem it to be
to the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect that said territory
and lands be annexed and pursuant to the statute in such case made and
provided
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,

SECTION 1. That the following described school territory and
lands, to-wit:
The Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northeast
Quarter (NE 1/4) and the North Half (N 1/2) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4) of Section 33, Township 42 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County,
IlUnois
SECTION 2. That the Village Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance
together with an accurate map of such territory in the office of the
Re corder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect forthwith upon its passage and approval as by law provided.
