HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 469 01/03/1956 ORDINANCE NO. ~ f AN ORDINANCE amending the Village of Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance as Amended ************* WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-l Residence District to B -Business District, the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having con- sidered the recommendation of the said Zonin g Commission, find and believe that the highest and best use for the real estate herein is that of B-Business District use; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinoi s : SECTION! That an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance classi- fying, regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries / and the l~cation of buildings designed for specified uses; reguhting and limiting~he height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and determining the area of yards, courts and other open f' spaces within and surrounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts for said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions", passed and approved December 4, 1923, known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended, be further amended by reclassifying from R-l Residence District to B-Business District, the following real estate: c~ $,JF ;7 j:'/ Lots Twenty -nine (29) and thirty (30) in block twenty-two (22) in the resubdivision of lot seven (7), in block twenty-one (21) iots twelve (12) to nineteen (19) both inclusive, in block twenty-two (22), lots twelve (12) to thirteen (13) in block twenty-three (23), in Busses easternaiditio~o Mount Prospect in the east half of section twelve (12), town forty-one (41) north, range eleven (11) east of the third principal meridian. SECTION 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon property in B-Business District as defined in said Ordinance heretofore mentioned. SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense, each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. ~17~w ~/ ~ ~~ ' 1956.
