Ordinance No. 4- 7 Z AN ORDINANCE a.mending Article II of the MOUBt Pros-pect Village Plan BE IT ORDAINED by the' President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cock County, Illinois: SECTION 1. That the paragraph entitled UStreet Trees" of Section 8, Article II of an Ordinance entitled t1An Ordinance providing for the adoption of the Official Plan of the Village of Mount Prospect" be and the sa,me is hereby amended ta read as follows: tl Street Treest Street trees shall be planted thr0ughout the entire subdivisian. Such trees shall be planted in the parkways four (4) feet from the sidewalk, and shall be spaced not less than 30 feet nor more than 50 feet on parkways abutting lots with a. frontage of less than 65 feet and not less than 43 1/3 feet on parkways a.butting lots that ha.ve a fronta.ge of 65 feet. The trees shall be one of the following: Hackberry (Celtis Occidentalis), Norway Maple (Acer Platanoidea), Thornless Honey Locust (Triacanthos Inermis), Ironwood (Ostrya Virginica) or ColUIXlIlAr Maple (Platanoides Calumnare) a.nd sha.ll be of a caliper of not less than 2 inches and the developer is to certify to the Village that said trees are free from. disease under the State of Illinois Plant Inspection Department standards. The trees sha.l1 be transplailted stock and the transplanting thereof having been done within four (4:) yea.rs from the time of purchase. Trees when so planted shall be of only one specie. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the sa.me are hereby repealed.
