Ordinance No. 4-74 AN ORDINANCE amending the Villa ge of Mount Pro.spect Zoning Ordinance as Amended *********** WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, . considered the question of reclassifying from R-1 Residence District to I-I Light Industrial District, the two parcels of real estate hereinafter described;and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having considered the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission, find and believe that the highest and best use for the real estate herein is that of R-3 Residence use for Parcel 1 and I-I Light Industrial use for Parcel 2; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, nlinois; SECTION 1. That an O:rdinance entitled "An Ordinance classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trade.s and industries and the location of buildings designed for spe.cified uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and deter- mining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and sur- rounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts for the said purposes and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions", passed and approved December 4, 1923, known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended, be further amended as follows: by reclassifying from R-l Residence District to R-3 Residence District, the f.ollowing real estate: Parcel 1 All that part lying North of the North line of Sha-Bonee Trail and between William and Edward Street, and des- cribed as:'-'Lots 10 to 15, both inclusive, in Block 1, and Lots 16 to 21, both inclusive, in Block 2, all in Pleasant Heights~ Mount Prospect, being a subdivision of Lots 3 and 4 in'Oehlerking's Division of land in the SE 1/4 of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian and by reclassifying from R-l Residence District to I-I Light Industrial, the following real estate: Parcel 2. 0,: ~~ Being that part of the W. 1/2 of the W. 1/2 of the S.E. 1/4 of ' Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11 Ea.st of the 3rd Principal Meridian lying North of the North line of the S. 3/4 thereof (except therefrom that part of the West 40 acres of the S. E. 1140f Section 12. aforesaid described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said S.E. 1/4 of Section 12; thence Southeasterly on a line parallel to and 447. 15 feet, more or less Southwesterly of the Southwesterly right of way line of the Chicago and North Western RailwclY 769.50 feet to the East line of said West 40 acres of the S. E. 1/4 of Section 121 thence South along the East line of said Weliit 40 acres, 281.60 feet more or less to the North line of the SQuth 30 acres of the West 40 acre s of said S. E. 1/4; thence West along the North line of the said South 30 acres, 657.25 feet to the West line of said S. E. 1/4; thence North along said West line 6~6/97 feet, more or less to the place of beginning) Allto that part South of the Chicago and North Western Railway of the S.
