Ordinance No. .4- 77
AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by HERMAN OEHLERKING
and CLARA OEHLERKING, his wife, being the sole owners of record
of the hereinafter described land and territory to the Village of
Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect, is unhabited and has no electors residing therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the Statute in such case made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have considered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to
be to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be annexed
thereto; Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the petition are true.
Section 2. That the lands and territory described to-wit:
Lot 2 in Oehlerking*s Division of the Ea.st half of
the Southeast Quarter and the East Half of the West
Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, (except the Chicago and Northwestern

Railroad right-ai-way, also except that part of
the East 15.0 chains of said Southeast Quarter
lying North of said railroad right-of-way and also
except therefrom the East 8.6 chains of said
Southeast Quarter lying South of said Railroad
right-of-way), in Cook County, Illinois
which territory is contiguous to the Village ai Mount Prospect, is not
embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains no electors residing therein,
and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village.

the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by law in such case
made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map
of said annexed territory, with the Recorder of Deeds ai Cook County,

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
PASSED: this 6P% day of March, 1956.
APPROVED: this 615 day of March, 1956.
