AN ORDINANCE amending Sections
3 and 4 of an Ordinance entitled
"An Ordinance esta.blishing the
office of Village Manager and defining
duties and powers. 11
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That sub -section "G" of Section 30f an Ordinance
entitled "An Ordinance establishing the office of Village Manager and
defining duties and powersll be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
G. - Consolidate or combine offices, positions,
departments or units under his jurisdiction.s, with
the a.pproval of the President and the Village Board.
The Village Manager may be the head of one or more
departments, including the Police Department and
the Treasurer-Collectorfs Department.
Section Z. That Section 4 of an Ordinance entitled "An
Ordinance establishing the office of Village Manager and defining duties
and powers" be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
llThe said bond shall be in the sum of $ :2. ~ 0 0 0 ~
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
"
forthwith upon its passage and approval according to law.
