A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONTRIBUTIONS
OF DAVID M. CLEMENTS TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, DAVID. M. CLEMENTS joined the staff of the Village of Mount
Prospect on May 23, 1988 as Director of Planning and Zoning; and
WHEREAS, DAVID M. CLEMENTS has undertaken several major projects
including: the development and re-development of the downtown business district;
revising and updating the Comprehensive Plan for the Village; completely revising
Chapter 14 of the Village Code... namely the Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, during his years of service to the Village of Mount Prospect, DAVID M.
CLEMENTS has served with distinction, always displaying attention to detail; and
WHEREAS, DAVID M. CLEMENTS has displayed the ability to work well with
officials, residents, and developers for the betterment of the Village; and
WHEREAS, DAVID M. CLEMENTS has announced his intention to take a new
direction in his career and move he and his family back to his hometown of Kansas
City, Missouri and become self-employed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect do hereby express appreciation to DAVID M. CLEMENTS for his service
to the Village.
SECTION TVVO:. That the Mayor and Board of Trustees, on behalf of the staff and
residents of the Village, do hereby extend best wishes for success to DAVID M.
CLEMENTS and his family on their future endeavors.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
