AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by the EXCHANGE NATIONAL
BANK OF CHICAGO, a corporation of Illinois and ALFRED BUSSE
and MARTHA BUSSE, his wife, being the sole owners of record of
the hereinafter described land and territory, requesting the annexation
of said tract of land and territory to the Village of Mount Prospectj and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect, is uninhabited and has no electors residing thereinj and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the Statute in such case made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have considered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to
be to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be
annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the petition are true.
Section 2. That the lands and territory described to-wit:
The South East 1/4 of the South East 1/4 of
Section 34, Township 42 North, Range II,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, excepting
from said described tract the West 1126.50 feet
thereof.
ALSO
The West 193 feet of the South West 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 35, Township
42 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not
embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains no electors residing therein,
and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village
of Mount Prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary line s and limits of said Village as is by law in such
case made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map
of said annexed territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,

Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage andapproval, according to law.
