AN ORDINANCE designating part
of Busse Avenue as a one-way
street.
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That that part of Busse Avenue located between
the westerly line of Main Street and its intersection with the Northerly
line of Northwest Highway be and the same is hereby designated as a
one-way street.
SECTION 2. That all traffic in and upon said Busse Avenue may
travel only in a Westerly direction from Main Street to Northwest Highway.
SECTION 3. That the Chief of Police be and he is hereby directed
to erect proper signs showing that that part of Busse Avenue is a one -way
street, showing that traffic shall move only in a Westerly direction from
Main Street to its intersection with Northwest Highway.
SECTION 4. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a
vehicle in violation of the signs erected in accordance with this ordinance
and in violation of the signs so erected.
SECTION 5. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall, upon conviction, thereof, be fined not more than Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) for each and every offense.
SECTION 6. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
forthwith upon its passage, approval and publication according to law.
