AN OR DINANCE amending
Chapter IX of the Mount Prospect
Building Code (Ordinance No. 225).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That sub-section 12 of Section A-Ordinary Construction
of Chapter IX of the Mount Prospect Building Code (Ordinance No. 225)
be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
By striking out the figure 11311 appearing
before the word ply and substituting therefore
the figure 115'1 to read "5 ply" and by striking
therefrom the figure''3/8'' appearing before
the word inch and substituting therefore the
figure "1/211 to read 111/2 inchll.
Section 2. That sub-section 9 of Section B-Frame Construction
of Chapter IX of the Mount Prospect Building Code (Ordinance No. 225)
be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
By striking out the figure "311 appearing
before the word ply and substituting therefore
the figure 115" to read "5 ply" and by striking
therefrom the figure "3/8" appearing before
the word inch and substituting therefore the
figure "1/2" to read "1/2 inchll ,
Section 3. That sub-section 11 of Section B-Frame Construction
of Chapter IX of the Mount Prospect Building Code (Ordinance No. 225)
be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
By striking out the figure 113" appearing
before the word ply and substituting therefore
the figure 11511 to read "5 ply" and by striking
therefrom the figure "1/4'1 appearing before
the word inch and substituting therefore the
figure "1/2'1 to read "1/2 inch",
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
forthwith upon its passage. approval and publication according to law.
