ORDINANCE NO. 55~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT OF 1957
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Chapter 3 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended
to add the following section:
"Section 3.114 Deputy Clerk. The Clerk
may appoint a deputy, by and with the
consent of the President and Board of
Trustees, who in the temporary absence
of the Clerk, in case of sickness or
otherwise, shall oe empowered to perform
all the duties of the Village Clerk."
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval according to law.
