ORDINANCE NO. ~~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.103
(Deposit), ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 23 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
OF 1957 AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Section 23.103 (Deposit) of
Article I, Chapter 23 of the Municipal Code of Mount
Prospect of 1957 as amended, shall be and the same is
hereby amended to and shall hereafter read as follows:
"Section 23.103 DEPOSIT. A deposit of
Ten Dollars ($10.00) shall be made with each
such application, this sum to be retained by
the village to insure payment of all bills.
When service to the applicant is discontinued
permanently this deposit, less any amount
still due the village for water service, shall
be refunded without interest."
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication according to law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are here-
by repealed, reserving however, to the Village of Mount
Prospect any rights which have accrued to it against any
person, firm or corporation under any ordinance or sec-
tions of ordinances which may be and are hereby repealed.
