ORDINANCE NO. 5'9 ~
AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE A CERTAIN EASEMENT
.\fHEREAS, A plat of J. A. Weber's Addition to
Mount Prospect being a subdivision of part of the East
1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, Townsnip 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois, was duly recorded in the Recorder of
Deeds Office on October 5, 1954 in Book 431 of Plats,
page 50, as Document No. 10044478; and
WHEREAS, Ssid plat contains a dedication of
twenty feet (ten feet on each side of the lot line
separating LotG 12 and 13) for utility easements in favor
of, amongst others, the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois; and
HHEREl\S, the Pl<ln Commission of the Village of
Mount Prospect recommends the vacation of the aforesaid
easement; <lnd
VlliEREAS, In the opinion of the corporate author-
ities of the Village of Mount Prospect the said easement
is no longer needed and vdll hereafter serve no public
interest and said easement may be vacated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOU}~ PROSPECT,
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That part of a twenty foot easement,
more or less, described as follows:
The East ten (10) feet of Lot 12 (except
the North ten (10) feet thereof) and the West
ten (10) feet of Lot 13 (except the North ten
(10) feet thereof) in J. A. Weber's Addition
to Mount Prospect being a Subdivision of part
of the East 1/2 of the North \'Jest 1/4 of Sec-
tion 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County,
Illinois,
be and the same is hereby vac<lted.

Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict with the provisions of ~his ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3: That the Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect be and he is hereby directed to cause this Ordinance
to be filed with the Recorder of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect
from and after its passage and adoption as provided by law.
